Woman Runs after groom in Nawada, Bihar : Insists to get Married
In a bizarre incident reported from Bihar, a video of a woman running after her groom-to-be at Bhagat Singh Chowk in Nawada has gone viral on social media.
Sweety Rani’s Report, Ranchi: The woman went to the market with her parents when she spotted her groom-to-be. She insisted to get married to him. As locals crowded, the man tried to run away from the area. However, the woman ran after him, grabbed him and pleaded, “Meri shadi karwaao.” In the video, the man is seen trying to free himself from the woman’s grip again and again.

The woman’s family claimed that the wedding date was arranged around three months ago. They had reportedly given a bike and Rs 50,000 cash as dowry to the man’s family. However, when the wedding date was approached, the man asked to reschedule it. The man’s family has been giving excuses to delay the wedding, according to the woman’s family.
While the man hails from Mehkar village, the woman is from Mahuli village.
When the news about the high-voltage drama spread, the police intervened. Cops arrived at the scene and took both the parties to a Mahila Thana. The families of the woman and man were counselled. Both parties eventually agreed to the marriage. The woman and the man finally got married at the temple next to the police station.
